A to Z
I saw this survey going around in the blogosphere (here and here) and wanted to join the fun. Here are a few things about me--some I'm sure you know (I love to read) others will be shocking (I know, I know: I can't believe I'm 37 either).
Age: 37
Biggest Fear: Airplane travel. Not looking forward to getting on a plane in 6 days, but am looking forward to the destination.
Current Time: 10:15am
Drink You Had Last: Coffee
Easiest Person To Talk To: Myself. I'm home alone with kids all day. Just being honest.
Favorite Song: Kind of addicted to Taylor Swift right now. And I'm enjoying the fact that my daughter loves her and sings along. I may even use her as an excuse to go see T-Swift's concert. But not bring her. Well maybe I'd bring her. Still debating. Moral of the story: I'm going at a minimum.
Grossest Memory: Childbirth. (Not of me being born, but if we did have those memories that would probably be a universal "grossest memory" don't you think?) Yes, getting the new baby was awesome and all, but the actual process of childbirth is gross. Sorry if you're a "bringing a baby into this world is a beautiful thing" person. The baby: beautiful. Childbirth: gross.
Hometown: Minneapolis!
In Love With: The written word. I love reading anything and everything.
Jealous Of: People who can read all day long if they want to.
Kindest Person You Know: This is hard. I try to not surround myself with people who aren't kind, so I could name a lot of people. But two people came to mind immediately upon reading this question, so I'll go with them. One, my grandmother. I've written about her before and cannot express how loving and kind and wonderful she is. And then, two, a fellow blogger (turned real life friend), Laura. Laura is compassionate, thoughtful and literally the sweetest person I've ever met. (Friend plug: her blog is awesome, too.)
Longest Relationship: Husband. Married 11 years (in a couple weeks), together roughly 13. He rocks. (Literally, he is in a band.)
Middle Name: Marie.
Number of Siblings: One younger sister.
One Wish: That I could read everything I want to read. While sitting by a pool.
Person You Last Spoke To On The Phone: Husband.
Question You're Always Asked: "Your kids are how close in age?!"
Reason to Smile: My daughter just told me that something is "cray-cray." She (and my son) always make me smile and laugh. And pull out my hair, but way more laughter.
Song You Last Sang: Livin' on a Prayer, Bon Jovi. I may have been rockin' out to some 80s music.
Time You Woke Up: 7:20am
Underwear Color: Black
Vacation Destination: Heading to Vegas in a week with the husband. Can't wait for a little time away. Plus, I'll get to read all day, everyday by (or in) a pool (see my 'one wish' answer above).
Worst Habit: I watch waaaaaaay too much trashy reality tv. When I think "ugh! I just wish I had more time to read!" all I need to do is look at my DVR to see why I don't. A blogger I love who just did this survey had the same answer--it's seriously an epidemic.
X-rays You've Had: None!
Your Favorite Food: I've said this before and I'll say it again. Bread. All kinds of bread. Any bread. All the bread.
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
xo Sara
{P.S. You like random posts about me? Great! I have a few of them: Here's the first one I ever did, here's where I mention my adoration of all bread and here's a 'fast five' version.}
