I decided to reread this book shortly after the inauguration of T. I enjoyed it WAY more than I ever did when I read it in HS and college BUT also had some hard moments with it. I think rereading the required reading of our youth as adults is really fun--it's great to see the different impact it has on you now versus then. Or, even more fascinating, when the opposite happens--something was so profound when you read it years ago now makes you cringe (looking at you "The Catcher in the Rye").

Regardless, a classic worth a read if you've never read it AND a reread if you haven't read it in decades.
