It's so funny I read this expecting nothing, after hearing about it randomly. (And, let's be honest, because I'm a Real Housewives franchise fan so of COURSE I'm gonna read a book by one of the RHONY ladies. I mean, OBVIOUSLY.) I think that's the best way to go into books--low expectations. Because when I've done that I've always been surprised, in a good way. This isn't a work of literary fiction but it IS a great summer read. Light, fun, cute. Predictable? Sure. But still, an easy read that kept me engaged.
