Station Eleven

This book hooked me right from the start. And it was written is such a realistic way that it really had me thinking about what I would do in a world like this? I'm such a sucker for works of art about our world but without the perks of modern civilization (I'm a big fan of the TV show Revolution).
I think Emily St. John Mandel wrote a beautiful novel. I loved her style and the world she created (or, rather, destroyed...). This was a great one-off novel for me to read amid all the trilogies I read that are loosely based on the same premise. The only problem was that I really wanted more.
